The High Glade Fire Lookout Tower, in the Mendocino National Forest. This is a great tower to visit during the day. It is staffed 7 days a week during the fire season.

High Glade Lookout Tower was built in 1935 by the Civilian Conservation Corp with a USFS Architect.
It is a standard 14’X14″ square building. The tower sits on a steel frame that is open galvanized steel and braces. The tower is 30′ high and is a live-in tower.
The elevation of the tower is 4843 ft.
